<TITLE>06. Par 21-24</TITLE>L-21 And that's about the way it is in today. When God comes down in an old fashion, Holy Spirit, God-sent revival, people are borned again of the Spirit of God, and people are being healed, and signs and wonders; the Holy Ghost comes in and moves over the audience, shows supernatural signs, the people go out and say, "Ah, not for me. That's mental telepathy; that's the devil. I--I'm afraid of that." The only thing that can help you, they become scared of it.
So Jesus said, "Don't be afraid. It's I; it's Me."
Just open up your heart tonight when He begins to move over the audience, and see if He don't say, "Don't be afraid; this is Me. I am your Saviour; I come to heal you. Just believe it; and I'll even speak to you." Amen. See it? Just believe it, only believe is the only thing you have to do.
Now, we see Him crossing the waters, had just left another side where a great revival could've took place, over in Gadara. But instead of the revival taking place, the people didn't want no revival. See, if you don't want Christ, He won't push Hisself on you, He certainly won't. It's how... You have to want Him first.
Blessed are they that hunger and do thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.
That's it. When you hunger, even a blessing to hunger and thirst for righteousness.

L-22 Now, watch what He did. He crossed that entire sea to go over on the other side to save one man that really was wanting to see Him come, and he was a maniac of Gadara. The maniac run out, being demon possessed. Here come all the preachers out and looked at him, said, "We don't want no such a thing around here, casting out devils. Why, it's cost us a whole herd of hogs. We can't have any revival."
Why, they felt more at home with the devil and hogs than they did with Jesus. That's right. Why, they--they wanted their hogs. They wasn't appreciating that man being delivered from that evil power.
You know, that man, when he received his right mind and wanted to follow Jesus, Jesus told him to go back in the city and testify. When I get to glory, I want to see how much pressure his testimony had on hog raising in Gadara from then on.

L-23 There he was, the maniac recognized Him quickly, a demon possessed. And them devils cried out of him and said, "We know Who You are, the holy Son of God. Why do You come to torment us?"
Jesus said, "Hold your peace and come out of him."
And they said, "If we come out, will You let us go over there in them hogs?"
He said, "Take your pleasure; go on."
And the hogs run down to the river and drowned, about two thousand of them. And the people come out and said, "Oh, my, if it's going to cost us like that, we just can't have the meeting."

L-24 So all the preachers and them standing around, said, "Now, you just go on back out of our country, from one side to the other one. We don't want nothing like that around here, that's too mysterious; that's spooky. We don't want that. We'd just rather stay here and have our priests to teach us, and so forth; we don't want that. That--that's not the thing that we wanted. We thought it would be different from that."
You know, things don't change too much as the times goes on, especially in that--that realm. They don't want it. As many revivals has been preached across the country, this ought to be one, big hallelujah from the east to the west, and the north to the south. That's right. But people don't want it. You people do. You're sincere in heart, children of God. You want it. But look what a little speck you are to the millions. See? Get it? Legion wanted the revival all right. He was ready, but the rest of them didn't want it.
